EXCLUSIVE SALMON FISHING AT RENÅ LODGE
There is plenty of space in the beat’s 18 pools, which have been given names like “Barton’s Water” and “Purgatory” from the era when English anglers ruled the river in the mid-19th century. Fishing takes place in the upper reaches of the Stjørdalselva River. An exciting stretch of 6.5 km, fluctuating between rapid currents, small and large pools of varying depths, offering excellent fishing – regardless of water level. Renå Lodge is located in the middle of the fishing section. It is walking distance to some of the pools, and a short car ride is organised to the other pools. You will be accompanied by local guides who know the river like the back of their hands, and we have a total of seven boats strategically placed along the entire section, so that you can easily switch sides of the river. Many of the fishing zones also have good facilities ashore, making them perfect for both fishing and social life.
Wind down, eat and sleep well in historic surroundings. For salmon fishing we offer accommodation at Renå Lodge and Brugetsgården. The food is local, prepared by skilled chefs, and we guarantee that every effort will be made to ensure that you have a memorable experience.
